I still feel like I ate a bunch today, but it wasn't that bad.
12 ounces black coffee, 10 calories
2 cups purple cabbage, 43 calories
1 cup Rotel Tomatoes, 45 calories
1/4 cup nutritional yeast, 45 calories (as per the nutritional info on the bag)
2 green onions, 5 calories
Then, later:
1/2 cup sauerkraut, 10 calories
1 cup collard greens, 30 calories
1 tablespoon Frank's RedHot, 5 calories
1/4 cup nutritional yeast, 45 calories
---
238 calories.
It felt like a LOT more, sadly.
I still feel full.

Day 6: 1200-1500 calories.
Another binge day.
I feel really disgusting.
Nothing I ate was even enjoyable (well, the strawberries were, but that was it).
I'm going to have coffee tomorrow, and then try to fast as long as I can.
If I do eat, it has to be 500 calories or less.
Losing is really important to me.
I can do it!

Day 5: ~1500 calories.
Disgusting, I know.
I pretty much binged all day today.
There is no exact calorie count, as I'm pretty ashamed to admit it, and I also didn't really measure everything out, but I'm guessing that I really had around 1200 calories before purging (which also didn't work very well, as I usually do not drink while binging. I need to remedy that). I'm rounding up though, because I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Safe than sorry, eh?
Then why did you binge in the first place, piggy?
I did weigh myself after eating though: 215.3.
Not up too much from the 213.0 this morning, but bad enough.
I'm going to try to sleep now.
Please don't let this binge ruin my progress.
Please don't binge again.

Day 3: 525 calories.
I fear that I consume way too much, even though my total seems small.
Breakfast:
1 cup of black coffee, 5 calories
1 Cherry Pie Larabar, 200 calories
Lunch:
1 cup collard greens, 30 calories, topped with:
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast, 11.25 calories, and
1 teaspoon Frank's RedHot sauce, 5 calories.
1/2 cup sauerkraut, 15 calories
5 medium strawberries, 20 calories (4 calories each)
Dinner: (eaten well after 6 PM, and for no good reason other than the fact that I am a disgusting pig)
1 whole wheat sandwich thin, 100 calories (it's been a long time since I have eaten bread), spread with:
3 tablespoons nutritional yeast, 33.75 calories, mixed with:
1 packet Wholly Guacamole snack pack, 100 calories, and:
1 teaspoon Frank's RedHot sauce, 5 calories
---
Total: 525 calories.
Fail.

Day 2: ~20 calories.
I only had two cups of coffee today.
I know the calories in black coffee are practically non-existent, but I like to give everything I eat some sort of calorific measurement.
Therefore, to me, 24 ounces of black coffee equals around 20 calories.
The good thing about coffee is it's suppressing qualities of the appetite. I had planned on a few strawberries for breakfast, yet after drinking my first 12 ounces, the thoughts of eating anything just slipped my mind. Somewhere in there, I decided I wasn't going to eat after 6 PM anymore. I was really busy until well after 6, so, nothing else was consumed.
Happy, happy.
I'm going to try to post as close to 6 PM (Pacific time) as possible. I know that publicly admitting my intake makes me less likely to fail, so... I shall stick with it.
Here is to slimming times, indeed.

Day 1: 320-470 calories
Believe me when I say that I actually plan on posting photos of my daily food.
Alas, today is not the day, though I would like to share with you my intake.
First off, I can't say I am a very good role model when it comes to food, or to dieting even. I'm learning to control myself.
I typically eat one meal a day.
If I eat more often, the portions are more 'snack-ish' (one apple).
Seeing is believing, though, so see you will.
---
1 apple (80 calories)
1 Subway Veggie Delite salad (50 calories*)
1 Apple Pie Larabar (190 calories)
---
Total: 320-470 calories.
---
This isn't a typical meal for me, by any stretch of the imagination. First, I rarely ever eat out. No fast food, no Subway, nothing. Second, I typically do not eat bars, yet I have been hearing a lot about Larabars. I want to add some healthy fats into my diet, and to be honest, eating nuts, or meat, or oil, or avocados in their natural form somewhat freaks me out. There is nothing freaky or chemical in a Larabar, just dates, nuts, apples and cinnamon. If anything, it will give me some energy and a bit of healthy fats, hopefully enough to allow my skin and hair to be less dry.
*As for the salad, both Calorieking.com and Subway say that a Veggie Delite salad has 50 calories. I must be crazy, because I know vegetables are relatively low-cal, but I'm having a really hard time believing that my salad had 50 calories. This, my lovers, is why I my daily intake ranges from 320-470.
I'd rather be safe and truthful to myself than blind or in denial.

The PURPOSE.
Greetings and welcome to my food journal.
I'm hoping that in keeping such account of my gluttony I will
be able to better control myself and my intake.
Hopefully it will also allow me to be more healthy.
That, and if it's not obvious, I have a slight obsession with food,
and/or lack of it.
I tend to go from one extreme to another, in various stages of my life.
I want to find balance and moderation.
Food has always been a hobby of mine.
Cooking, eating, restricting.
I love food, yet I hate it.
So, settle in, if you will.
Eat vicariously through my gluttony,
enjoy my recipes for (hopefully) healthy,
low-calorie and delicious eats.
And find out once and for all:
What exactly does a fading ghost eat, anyway?
